“When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.”
Leyne Keber is a 9-year-old boy from Dunezar in Molentius. Leyne is energetic, inquisitive, and somewhat fearless. He loves new experiences and new adventures, much to the dismay of his doting and worrisome father.
The heroes first encountered Leyne on Mistress, the river barge belonging to Nichol Farlock. The majority of the group took an immediate liking to Leyne, as his excitement for Crocomania was infectious, and his innocence was endearing.
Because of the large amounts of crowds present in Harubel for Crocomania, the group has yet to reconnect with Leyne or his father Jorr, but it is a safe bet that the child is thoroughly enjoying his time in Harubel.
Leyne was amongst the dozens of travelers abducted by the Father of Worms to be used in his foul rituals. Were it not for the timely intervention of the heroes, young Leyne’s life likely would have come to an early end.
